Born and raised in Brandon, Alyssa knew from a very young age that she wanted to find a career in which she could help others. As she grew up, science and medicine came to the forefront of this endeavour, and she made the decision to attend university with the intention of becoming a doctor.
After graduating with her Bachelor degree, Alyssa went on a volunteer trip to Africa that drastically changed the direction of her life. It was there that she recognized how much basic dietary and lifestyle needs could impact human health, how important human connection is for healing, and how vital the basics of mental/emotional well-being are for our body’s ability to maintain themselves.
